Never heard of Mint used as a name before... but it's not too bad, I think. I like a lot of herb/plant/nature names, and I like mint as a herb in general, so I can't say I dislike this name, it's also really unexpected at least to me and nicely fresh, literally, but I much prefer more girly plant names for girls. I think even something like
Araminta nicknamed to Mint would a better idea, and quite a quirky one I suppose.
