I personally prefer Asuka to be a feminine name, to be honest.Also, thank you for your comment on my knowledge of Japanese names, though I do wish to practice the language itself. As for Megumi, I don't think it's as dated as others might think it is, and it's my first time hearing about this.

I really can't say myself, I'm looking at the name from a Western perspective with very limited knowledge. It's one of my favorites, though. Wish I could link you to where I read that, but I can't seem to find it again lmaoI too want to learn Japanese. I've been trying to learn French, but it's not working as well as I hoped. However I have noticed I remember / hear Japanese words better than I do French so I think I'd have an easier time. It'd be the script I'd struggle with. I read French easier than listening, but the fast-paced accent and the pronunciation throws me over the wall lmao.
