It's not bad, but I much prefer
Cornelia, or
Cordelia. If I had a child called either
Cornelia or
Cordelia though, I probably wouldn't nickname her
Cora anyway. I can't say I dislike it, but it sounds a bit harsh.
Kora means bark (of a tree) in Polish, and as a native I cannot get past that association, hence I find
Kora a little weird linguistically.
