The muslim form of Noah is Nuh. Since the final h is pronounced in Arabic and Turkic, you might hear it as Noor, but Noor (Nur) itself is a muslim name for girls (predominantly).--elbowin

He wrote it as Noor too (we exchanged emails), but Nuh could explain this, and perhaps he just preferred Noor over Nuh. Thank you!
