I only ask because my name is Shannon and it gets misheard often as Shawna, Sharon, or Janet!

That's not too close to Shannon. I've definitely mistaken Shannas for Shannons before though.

My younger brother thought my middle name (Shaina) was Shannon up until this most recent Christmas. He's 20.
