I remember liking the “K” sound in the beginning of Kim a lot when I was a kid. It’s still kind of pleasant to me. I think Kimberly is pretty, I think Kim is strong/trustworthy, and I think Kimmy only works for a certain person. Like Kimmy Schmidt.

Ultimately I think Kimberly is kind of dated for a lot of Americans, but if you look at some data it is still pretty popular among Hispanic/Latino babies in particular, which I think is interesting!
