I feel like I'm supposed to like Caroline, given my taste in feminine names: elegant, sophisticated... often British. But to me, Caroline is one of the snobbiest names in Anglophone culture - even if the bearer is the most down-to-earth person! It's just... the *sound*. And the look. I'd seriously expect a Caroline to have her nose up farther than a Seraphina, no lie. I much prefer Carol (and Carla).
As for the combos you posted, I actually do think Caroline Sarah is nice - Sarah helps ground Caroline a bit.
