I've considered
Duncan for a boy. It was my ggm's maiden name and goes well with our Scottish surname. I'd describe it as handsome, masculine and sophisticated. Where I live (Southeastern US), it isn't well known. My dh really dislikes
Duncan and has said the poor boy would be teased by being called 'Dunkin' Donuts.' Somehow, I think the child would survive.
Duncan is a great name.
