How about names with meanings associated with "gold"...

Saffron
Or, if you have a "G" first name you like, you could pair it with a middle "O" name that has "l" or "d" in it and take the nn Goldie from the sounds present in both names. Using Orinda as a middle would give you both sounds and meaning.
