It's interesting that you disliked Sofia in the past for a "shrill" sound, because I can't detect any shrillness. Is it frilly? Absolutely. But it's one of the softest names around, imo.

Shrill as in a shrill cry, creaky! The S in combination with the FEE sound. It made it sound like nails on a chalk board to me, very squeaky/creaky! I don't think it's harsh, Kristen is harsh or Kerstin.
