It's not Swedish, I've never heard it here. The Swedish word for girl is flicka. I think Svenja sounds too close to "svärja", an old Swedish word for swearing (svära is the word we usually use nowadays).
Sven is an old traditional word for a young man, but pojke is the modern word for boy.
