My aunt's name is Maxine, but she goes by Mackie and always has. I used to hate Maxine but now it's starting to seem borderline stylish. Like Maxine is actually kinda badass when I think about it. Also, would be a great name for a dog.

Patience is not my style at all. I can get behind some of those strange Puritan virtue names, but this one feels cheesy and tacky. Once read a book with a Puritan character named Waitstill. Thought that was kinda cool but also kinda a weird "virtue."
