I like Aleida, though not enough to ever seriously consider it. There are other closely related names that I like more.
I learned years ago that it's pronounced ah-LIE-da, but that's not the pronunciation I would intuitively go to. The "lei" makes me think of a flower lei and Princess Leia, so I want to say ah-LAY-da. I can also see how the "ei" could remind people of more familiar names like Reid and Neil and nudge them toward ah-LEE-da, too.
Just to say, it's a pretty name, but if I used it, I'd be prepared to frequently correct people.

The ah-LAY-dah pronunciation is one I didn't even think of. I can see how that would come to mind.
The having to correct people thing would get old rather quickly and it detracts from the name.
