LUILA is likely a variant of LUELLA.

It is more likely that this particular |-ila| is a feminine, diminutive suffix (like -illa, -ella, etc.) than a stand-alone morpheme.
It would arise from the Latin suffix |-ilis|, commonly |-ile| in modern times.
