[Facts] Re: Saro
in reply to a message by Eilis
I did a quick search and found this:
http://bewitchingnames.blogspot.com/2012/07/saro.html
I can see how that it is, cause they've got quite a unique accent in the Appalachians so it may be a phonetically derived version of the name, like how Tayla (Taylor) and its ilk are getting popular in Australia, etc
My PNL = http://www.behindthename.com/pnl/37275
Top: Henry & Lara (main) and Caspian & Briar (GP)
Bottom: Trajan & Jacoba (main) and Dinadan & Melpomene (GP)

Thanks! I don't know anything about Appalachian accents myself, but the concept of a regional pronunciation is pretty much what I was thinking of too. :-)
