Good names!
My husband's both grandmothers were named Jamila; perhaps it was the Emma of the time. :-)
He also has a cousin named Shahrazad.

Fabulous. I've always loved the "meel" sound in names and Jamila also has the added bonus of a soft "j" sound too. It's music to my ears. Nn Mimi would be so cute for a Jamila.
Shahrazad actually exists? I thought it was a GP. Wow. Neat! I used both Jamila and Shahrazad on one of my polls today. I'd be very pleased if you were to vote in them. :-)
