I think Emily is still beautiful, especially as a middle name. Meadow Emily and Meadow Emily Danielle are both very sweet, but I'm not sure about the double /eh/ sounds between Meadow and Emily.
I know about a bazillion Emilys. I was born in 1992, so right as Emily was at the head end of its heyday. I have 9 Emilys on my Facebook friends list, and I know a number of others that I don't really spend any time with. Its popularity doesn't kill it for me, though. It's a timeless name and I always think of Emily Dickinson.
