Nah, the character referred to below was named after Robert E. Lee, the confederate general. It's a pretty unsavory namesake, given, yanno, integration and all that. I actually like Zebra more than Bunny. I just read two books featuring characters named Bunny and I just can't get into it. It's just dry. Zebra I think has a super fun sound, is really memorable and spellable, and really distinctive. I could get into it if my partner really wanted a Zebra... but I did think it was funny enough to post about.
