I love the sound of it. The only downside is that people might assume it's a girls' name if they aren't familiar with it considering that various
Em- names, such as
Emma and
Emily, are popular for girls these days. It's also somewhat close to the word "empress" in terms of sound. It doesn't sound so feminine that it would be all that problematic, though. I think it's still usable.
