My hubby won't do biblical either! My 1st son from a previous relationship is Elijah, and he doesn't like it. I prefer Elijah over a 'made up' name like Rahine [his name] any day! It also doesn't help that I cannot stand my MIL and she just has to mention that she came up with the name. I was raised in an urban environment and I have met more than one Rahine in many variations.

He likes 'ethnic' names [Javon, Keyshaun] and doesn't mind weird spellings and apostrophes [i.e. L'Vonne], a personal pet peeve of mine. The names he likes are boring to me [ Eric, Devon, Christopher] or just horrible. I also don't have any good choices when it comes to family male names.
