2000 (Y1)
Just a year after Cade and Percy are married, tragedy strikes the newlyweds. Percy dies of a heart attack while on the job. Cade is heartbroken, and does not know how he can go on. However, then he meets a woman named Delilah (aka Lily), and they begin to date.
2001 (Y2)
After dating for 7 months, Cade and Lily decide to adopt. They adopt an adorable 5-year old girl from Germany named Adelaide Felicie. Cade is so happy that he almost forgets about Percy's tragedy. Almost.
2002 (Y3)
One day, Addy brings home a stray dog, whom she has named "Mika". Cade is a bit nervous about bringing the stray into his home, but Lily assures him that no harm will be done. Mika is a very well-behaved dog and is one of Addy's best friends.
2003 (Y4)
The whole family is surprised when they find a goat outside their house, chained to a tree. Cade loosens it and tells it to "shoo", but it does not leave. Addy makes friends with the goat and begs her dad to let them keep it. Cade reluctantly agrees. Addy names him "Koby"
2004 (Y5)
A few months after Cade and Lily marry, they decide to adopt another child... a boy, also from Germany. He is 10-years old and loves playing with Addy, his new little sister. His name is Emmerich Friedemann, but everyone just calls him "Ricky".
2005 (Y6)
Ricky loves dogs, but never gets a chance to play with Mika because Addy won't let him. So, Cade and Lily get him his own dog as a birthday present. He names him "Forrest", and plays with him all the time.
2006 (Y7)
After years of trying, Lily has finally had a baby. He is a plump baby, with straight hair and hazel eyes like his father, and blonde hair like his mother. They have named him "Ammon James".
2007 (Y8)
Cade and Lily have adopted another German girl, this time her name is "Christina Gertraud" and she is 12-years old. Chrissy, as she's come to be known, is having a hard time getting used to the Mason family, since she's lived in an orphanage all her life, but is happy to finally be loved by somebody.
2008 (Y9)
Cade and Lily have been blessed with identical twins! They both have red, wavy hair and blue eyes. They have named them "Nora Olivia" and "Sarai Alana".
2009 (Y10)
Both Mika and Koby have died. However, Cade and Lily are adopting again! This time it is a 1-year old French girl named "Patience Ophelie".
