[Opinions] Re: Birth Announcements

Abigail Florence Ellen -- I don't know what I love about this more: the use of solid classics that I know will wear well over time, or the fact that I'm assuming female family members are being honored.Aleah Faith -- Ick.Amelia Grey -- just one sound away from nice but predictable "Amelia Grace." I almost wonder if that's intentional. If Grey is a family surname, then great. Otherwise, I'm not big on it even in the mn spot.Bria Lynn-Marilyn -- Yuck. What a shame they didn't do something really different and use lovely, underappreciated Lynn as the fn.Charley Marie -- Gimmicky. "It's a girl, but we gave her a boy's nn to make her sound like a tomboy. Aren't we clever?" Not.Jayleigh Ava'Marie -- What is it?Jolienne Frances -- Another missed opportunity to use spunky Frances as a fn. Jolienne looks made up and reminds me of julienne potatoes. Lauren Marie -- yawnMackenzie -- Molly Emilyn -- Molly is cute.Nadiah Nichole -- When did Russian Nadia become middle-eastern?Savanna Marie -- Since the word is "savannah" I prefer that spelling. This combo is a yawn.Serenity Adell -- Adult diapersSonya Raine -- How nice to see Sonya being used. Very refreshing. I would have prefered Sonya Lorraine.Zoey Marie -- Would someone please explain diaeresis marks to these parents? They don't have to actually use them for Zoe to have two syllables. Everyone knows the foreign markings are understood, like Renee (accent aigu). Ashton James -- Nice to see Ashton is staying in the masculine column. This is a nice combo.Braden Marcus -- Love Marcus.Colt DavisEzekiel David -- Not my style, but nothing wrong with Ezekiel either. At least they were trying for something out of the ordinary without going crazy.Gabriel Michael -- I would prefer if they didn't end in the same sounds. But I'm glad they used handsome classics like these. Isaac Nicholas -- Two handsome classics that combine well. The "k" sounds are a little close together. But compared to all of the other combinations this one is stunning.Noah Thomas -- Predictable, but they used handsome classics and didn't misspell them. Otto William -- Oh, yeah. Loving this one. German and not apologizing for it. Vaughn Michael -- Vaughn reminds me of lounge lizards, but that's just my admittedly weird take on it. There's nothing wrong with the name and it combines well with Michael.Sorry to be so crabby today. (Where's my lunch . . . ?)

Abigail Florence Ellen - doesn't honor family members as far as I could tell. The announcement listed grandparents & great grandparents and no one was Florence or Ellen.
