Over the past few years more children joined the family. Joining Stephen and Charlotte are: Ellie (5), Shannon (4) and Jake (2). About 3 years ago, Emilie's friend Jessalyn committed suicide leaving behind her young daughter Shannon. Jessalyn wrote in her will and suicide letter she wanted Emilie and Jacoby to take Shannon instead of her ex-boyfriend Michael who is Shannon's father. A lawsuit ensued and after months in court, Emilie and Jacoby got custody and later adopted Shannon. Their next child born was Jake, his full name is Jacoby Jr. but he goes by Jake on a daily basis.
