I think it is really beautiful and definitely useable because it has a lot of nicknames that make it a little less complex. Amy and Thea are the nicest nicknames I can think of.
Amalthea Maeve could work, or Amalthea Siobhan if you wanted irish names. My favourite combo would be Amalthea Iris
