[Opinions] Re: Sophie or Rosalie?
It just seems like I've been hearing it tossed around a lot lately, primarily due to the fact that it was used in Twilight. Anything that is rising in popularity because of pop culture is trendy in my book. Maybe my definition of trendy is different.

Ok... I figured it was prob'ly due to Twilight or this website. How many people would actually use it because of some dumb vampire movie, I've no idea. That def. would not be my motivation. BtN has names on its discussion board frequently that aren't so popular in real life, so I wondered... Things that are trendy on this board are often not in real life. That's why I wondered.

Thing about Bella and Edward though is that many people recognize Edward as a standard name and many would at least consider it anyway and Isabella was already popular before the book and movie came out, so this just kinda adds to the hype of potentially pushing some people either towards or away from those names. Rosalie, however, is rare enough that for some people, that's prob'ly the first place they've ever heard it, so it may spark some to consider it and leave others thinking it's just an obvious movie name 'cause they've never encountered a Rosalie in real life.

I understand. Things on this board do not reflect the real life name pool (for the most part.) I'm not a fan of Twilight either (I've never read it but I read a summery on Wikipedia and it made no sense.) But, considering the rising popularity of Bella, Edward, ect. I would stay way from anything related.
