I only like the spelling Lin, but I'm willing to like Lynn if it's honoring. I can't say I like Michelle (it's too pink and frilly IMO) but if you like it I don't see anything wrong with it.
I like Helen Kathleen.
Would Apollo be too much of a stretch? (Dianne --> Artemis --> boy --> Apollo) Okay, I admit it, it's too much of a stretch. Maybe Catalin for a boy version of Kathleen? Saxon sounds a little like Susan, but they're completely unrelated... Royse for Rose maybe? Or Royston? Meh... this is hard. What about Shoshan? (because Susan came from Shoshannah.)?
