My cousin was almost Xavier, but his parents named him Matthew at the last minute.

Xavier is okay, I guess. It sounds a little weird, but it's all right.

I like Helena Lottie; very cute.

Well, Lottie is a middle name. Most people don't use their middle names, so maybe it won't matter that it's a nickname.

I like Helena, but I think Lottie must be a relative's name-- I have one of those annoying hangups where I always think, "Why didn't they go with Charlotte and leave Lottie as a nickname?"
