I'm just signing up now, so there's a bit of backstory.
Sign-Up
Wil and Bekah met in college and dated for three years. When Wil graduated, he proposed to Bekah and she accepted! They had a rather long engagement--waiting until after Bekah graduated the next year. The two of them were married three months ago at the church Bekah grew up in. Now, Wil works as an engineer/aerospace technician for NASA. He enjoys his job a lot and likes finding ways to solve problems that stump everyone else. Bekah is working as a second grade teacher, though she really wants to teach preschool. The school she's currently at offered a good starting salary, however, and she decided it would be worth it to work there for awhile.
Round 1
After two years, Wil and Bekah welcomed their first child, a daughter! Her name is Marina Adie. Both Wil and Bekah thought it sounded pretty, so they decided that they should use it. Both Wil and Bekah are still working. Marina was born on June 28th, so Bekah was already finished with school for the summer. She intends to work next year since she already signed a contract, but is thinking about quitting teaching and becoming a full time mommy.
Round 2
After three years, Wil and Bekah welcomed their first little boy! Marina was elated to have a little brother. They decided to name him Quentin Alexander, after Wil's father who passed away ten years ago in a car accident. Wil and Bekah have been doing well. When Bekah found out she was pregnant, she finally quit her teaching job to become a stay-at-home mom. Marina loves spending more time with her mom and little brother. Wil still works for NASA and still loves what he does.
Round 3
Seven years have passed, and two new children have been born. Roger Kenai was born five years ago. His name comes from Bekah's grandfather and Marina's excessive watching of Brother Bear just before he was born. Cynthia Anastasia was born last year. Her name comes from Wil's grandmother and a family decision on Marina's suggestion of Anastasia from Cinderella. Originally, she wanted her sister to be Cynthia Cinderella, but Bekah told her that was too complicated.
Round 4
Seven more years have passed and the kids are all growing up. Six year old Olivia Raine is the only new addition to the family. Olivia was named after Bekah's best childhood friend, who died of breast cancer just before Bekah found out she was pregnant. Raine was the name that the three grandparents agreed upon for their newest granddaughter. The other kids are almost grown-up. Marina intends to go to college next year and study biology/pre-med. Quentin is growing up too. He inherited his father's love of fixing things and kind of hopes to work for NASA someday like his Dad has done for almost twenty years. Roger is enthused with the military and wants to be in the Army or the Marines someday. He is currently enrolled in a JROTC program at his school. Cynthia is a quiet little girl who likes to read. She's recently started writing her own stories and having Olivia illustrate them (Olivia loves to draw!).
