Story: The Twelve Dancing Princesses

The king is not dead, but he is old (remember that Lina is his youngest of twelve daughters) and he has decided to step down and hand the keys of the kingdom to Michael now so he can watch him rule and mentor him and give him a running head start (this also means that Lina is promoted from youngest princess to Queen). This is good news for the family, good news for the kingdom, good news all around. And the good news doesn't stop there, for shortly after the coronation is announced (but well before it takes place), Lina gives birth to a baby, their first daughter, Raine. Her name name evokes thoughts of royalty, joy, and strength. And is short and sweet. Her brothers adore her. Her parents adore her. And, just as importantly, they adore each other. They've had their hard times, but are now very much in love to the point of being sappy about it. And the birth of a new baby hasn't slowed them down at all. These are good times.
