I've got a truly horrible feeling that he might have been Bridget or Brigitta or something if he'd been a she.
Maybe a customer service rep, or a cold-calling salesperson, would actually appreciate having an odd name. They could make a cheery pre-emptive joke about it at the beginning and be pretty sure that their clients would never forget them!
