I agree 100%. While I agree Ava is lovely, it has a completely different feeling for me, more exotic and sophisticated. Ava has loads of energy. Ada is more down-home and sensible, yet delicate.
My only fear with Ada is that someone will one day use it as a mn without realizing that it sounds like "ate a" after a fn. :-P
From your list, I love all except Ada Ruth. I just don't like Ruth. Ada Frances and Ada Winifred are my favorites.
