[Opinions] Fionnghuala!
I like Maebh (Maeve) and Aisling, but Fionnghuala (fyoon-WAH-la) is one of my favorites! Classy, elegant, natural, wholesome, intellectual, unique...Since it means roughly "fair-shouldered", I picture this little fair-haired girl in a white dress running through the green meadows of the Irish countryside.Fionnghuala works for a scrubbed, wide-eyed ingenue while Maebh (meaning "intoxicating") seems to work well for a sultry femme fatale (in honor of the legendary Queen Maedhbh of Connacht)

We'd say Fin-oola in Dublin. Most girls have the nn "Noola" or "Nuala". or even Fin. Which I adore.
I tend to like Fionnuala a little better. Because I think it makes a nicer sibset with my daughters Shea and Caoimhe.
