I'm big on nicknames. I give my pets hundreds of silly ones, and the kids all have heaps too. I'm perfectley happy to use names that don't come with built in nicknames, cause I know they'll get them anyway. EG Jet's name is very short, but I call him Jetty and Jetster and Jet pack and Jetjet, among others.
My kids will probably get:
Xanthe Lyric Delphine nn Xan, Xanth, Xanners, Xanadu, Xampers, Xanthe Lyric, Xaxa, Xanthers
Adelaide Lucy Aviva nn Addie, Addie Lou, Addie May (from her mn's), plus theres Laidey, Ladybug, or even Della
Sonnet Anneliese Sophia nn Sass and Sassy, from her intials, and also Sonnet Blue Bonnet and Netty
August Malachi H. nn Gus, Augs, Auggie, Augster, Auggie M, Grumpy Gus etc.
Ok, you get the idea. I love me some nns.
