It's been one of my favorite names since I was like 13. I prefer it spelled Llewellyn, but whatever. I think it could be usable, although there would be some trouble with it. That's why we'd only use it as a middle name. I've met one guy named Llewellyn, and he went by Lynn. I never asked him if he had issues before though.

Oh, and I of course pronounce it in English and not Welsh. Expecting people to pronounce it in Welsh would be way too much.
