Ah, ok. I checked on the web and although the term "Pagan" does refer to a religion, it has also come to mean:
* heathen: a person who does not acknowledge your god
* A person not adhering to any major or recognized religion, especially a heathen or non-Christian (often derogatory)
* A general term used for people who are not Christian, Jewish, or Muslim
I was thinking of the word in that sense, not the definition you are thinking of which is:
* A pagan is someone of Earth-centered polytheistic, ditheistic or pantheistic faith
But I can see how that might have been misunderstood, so I'm sorry. No offence intended!

A (Pagan) person that doesn't acknowledge your god or the Judeo-Christian God is still a person of a religion and should not be derogatory. Pagan as a derogatory term is as bad as calling someone a Jew in a derogatory sense.
