Thank you so much! Anya (we've changed her legal name to Anna) and Fedora (with her approval we've changed her name to Elena, to avoid teasing about hats) are such joys. Charlotte loves having two sisters near her age to play with, and Sofia is thrilled (usually) to have more little sisters to dress up in her costumes. We have adopted two more kittens named Leo and Hope, and all of the girls adore them. Anya and Elena have been dictating letters to their parents with Aleksander's help, but they are adjusting very well.

Both girls are learning English quickly and love to talk. They've made friends with some of the neighbors' children and love to play at the park with them. Anya and Elena are both enraptured with Sofia and Charlotte's collection of dolls, and Anya has discovered a love for finger painting. Elena recently discovered the joys of swimming, and we plan to enroll her in swim lessons the instant she turns five (which is the minimum age for the lessons).
