Payton becomes pregnant. Who's the father? Do she keep the baby or not?
My poor Claude... She's recently had to go through something that I had hoped no one else in my family would go through... I feel like history is repeating itself! 9 years ago I went through the same situation as Claude is now... the prenancy of a daughter who is just far far too young.
When Nat became pregnant when she was 14, it was a very difficult time for us all, but we got through it and we wouldn't be without darling Sirius for the world, but Nat had to sacrifice a lot. She didn't get to enjoy the normal teenage years like other girls... and now my dear granddaughter, Claude's daughter Payton, is pregnant too - and she's a year younger than Nat was!
Needless to say, Darius is furious. He's doing the typical over-protective dad routine, demanding to know who the father is etc, but Payton refuses to say. Claude and I know that she's obviously trying to protect whoever the young man is, Darius is angry enough to do something terrible. Payton is terrified of the whole situation and really isn't at all ready to deal with the responsibility, but Claude and Darius are against her having an abortion, and they'd like to see the baby raised within the family so are probably going to adopt the baby and raise it themselves.
((I've changed the placement of Payton's son so he appears as an adopted son of Claudia & Darius - change this if you'd prefer it set up in another way.))
