Isn't
Sakura the #1 baby name for girls in Japan ? I like Japanese names and I love its meaning and think that it sounds nice as well but I wouldn't really use it unless I married a Japanese guy or lived in Japan. I mean it's not that ethnic (like
Akiko or Hiromi) but I think it would sound rather weird with an English surname (
Sakura Miller). Maybe that's just me, though as nobody else seems to have noticed that it's a Japanese name.
Still it's beautiful and better than
Taylor or something...I like
Sakura Isobel,
Sakura Alice,
Sakura Alix,
Sakura Theodora,
Sakura Wilhelmine,
Sakura Jessamine,
Sakura Clementine and
Sakura Camille.
I like
Mildred but it doesn't go well with
Sakura at all in my opinion.
