Round 1: Carolina Grace was adopted from Iceland. She's a beautiful blonde with ringlets of curls and big bright blue eyes. Erik & Kerstin were ready to have a child of their own but couldn't get pregnant. They had wanted to adopt eventually anyway, so they looked into it. They knew they wanted a child from a Scandinavian country since Erik is originally from Sweden and Kerstin from Norway. They filled out the application and Carolina seemed to fall right into their laps. They love her.
Round 2: Kaitlyn Linnea Eve was born on January 7. They chose to give her two middle names. Linnea is a Swedish name (again, they wanted to stay true to their heritage) and Eve is the middle name of Kerstin's best friend Raessa.
