Ok, well first you should know that Brazil has the largest Japanese population outside of Japan, the largest Italian population outside of Italy, and there are 12 million people of German ancestry living in the south of the country as well. There are a LOT of Japanese, Italian and German Brazilians, so there are a lot of Japanese, Italian and German names. Many Japanese Brazilians are given or have taken Portuguese names, however. And then with the high interest in the English language, Enlgish names (I've noticed mostly among men with the -son ending) are quite popular as well. There are also many Arabic Brazilians, and of course there are indigenous names as well, but as I lived in the "high class" part of Brazil I unfortunately didn't get to meet many.Anyway, on with the list of typical names I encountered down there:
