I took Saul because though a nice "alternative" to Paul (semisnicker), I just don't like the sound of it, or the "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?" association.
I took Sean because though I love the sound, it's getting overused.
I took Simon because my sister loves it, so I would never use it for her, and I just don't like it all THAT much.
I really like Soren, that would've been my other choice to keep, but boys' names ending in -n are just too popular, sorry.
I prefer Stephen, Stefan sounds like it's trying too hard (at least for Pennsylvania.)
