Hi, It's always been Italian to me, Drago that is, I've never heard the name Dragovic, but I do know that Drago means Dragon, and the First Drago I find was Duke Martinovic, of what country I don't know. Then there were the Drago's of Moldava Romania who's desendants were kicked out. Then their are Drago's curently holding Royal titles in Italy now, so good luck on your search.
