I think it's barely usable as middle name and definitely not as a first name. Ava Peridot, Isla Peridot, Michaela Peridot, Vivian Peridot, Zara Peridot, and Genevieve Peridot are gorgeous combos. Elisabeth Peridot "Elise" would be lovely too.
