Deianeira means "destroying her spouse" (Liddell-Scott).
It is derived from "deios" (hostile, destructive) and "aner" (man).
Dont tell me I didnt warn you...
(note: the de- in Deianeira is an eta, not an epsilon)

PSA number of web sites define Deianeira as "she who strings together spoils" which is complete hogwash.
