[Opinions] Re: Oh, gosh, that's right!
I didn't realize that's where the name Calpurnia came from, though I knew it sounded 'familiar'. There is a transgender woman (male-to-female) named Calpurnia Addams (former fn Scott) whose tragic love story with a soldier was the subject of the movie "Soldier's Girl". I don't know about IRL, but in the movie, she was often called Callie. I don't know her motivation for picking the name, but it likely was for the character from the book. Or Caesar's wife. :b Correction: I just looked her up, and she spells it Calpernia. :-/
