[Facts] Re: alternate meaning
In Italian, the name "Chiara" (pronounced kee-AH-rah) means "bright", and can loosely be interpreted to mean "star". The term "chiaroscuro" in the art world is applied to the distribution of light and shade in a painting.
It's interesting to note that the Irish "Ciara" means exactly the opposite of the Italian "Chiara".
