-Hideaki Noboru "Dale" is a 17 year old from America, with Japanese ancestry. He has lived in foster homes since birth. When he was 8 he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia [ALL]. He has been in remission 3 times, and it seems the cancer is gone for good, as he's been in good health for 4 years. He fell in love with a girl named Marianne [you're also adopting her], who is 16, and got her pregnant. Dale loves school, friends, animals, and life overall. He also likes being a father.
-Marianne Fleur is 16 and also from the U.S. She loves to cook and has written several cookbooks, but hasn't shown anyone. Marianne, her parents, twin sister, and little brother were on their way to the beach 3 months ago and were in a severe car accident. Her parents and brother died instantly but Marianne and her twin Natalie Joelle were hospitalized. Marianne came extremely close to losing her baby, and Natalie is still in a coma. She is withdrawn and suffers from depression as a result. She really hopes that one day her sister will come out of her coma and they can reconnect. Marianne recently had a daughter named Gisela Kate who was born a healthy 6 lbs. 3 oz. 19 in. long.
-Arthur Benedict Charles "Ben" is 3 years old. His mother was only 14 and came from an upper class family and her mother left her with no other choice. He is very active and loves anything involving running and moving. He was born premature and has slight respiratory problems, but nothing too serious. He also loves animals and other kids.
