Alexis is a girl, and since they live in America it is not surprising. Over here in the US there are almost literally (if not completely literally) no boys with the name Alexis. If there are boys running around with that name here I feel bad for them. I find it a great name but because there are SO many female Alexises running around it would make me believe that the boys would be made fun of for being "girly."
