#1. Isolde is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! It's my favourite name in English but also in Catalan (my language), in the forms of Iseut [ee-ZEHOOT] and Isolda [ee-zol-duh].
#2. Why should it be ridiculous? It would only be ridicoulous, imo, if you named your kids Isolde and Tristan. Otherwise, it doesn't matter at all! :-D
