Usula is a native word from a local dialect in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, Central America. Usula does mean "Valley of Birds" but I don't think it is purely Spanish or Portuguese but indeed some dialect which, by geographical location, looks like it could be a blend of English, French, Spanish... There are many of those dialects all along the Caribbean Coasts of Central America, From Panama to Mexico.
